Micro-Batching systems are used for dosing fixed quantity of material into the system. The system consists of a number of Storage Bins having different material. From these Storage Bins, the material are dosed to a common weigh Hopper. The discharge from the Storage Bins to the Weigh Hopper is done through Feeders feeding at coarse and fine feed to control the dosed material. The recipe for the product is set in the control system. Each material as per the recipe is charged from the Storage Bin to the weigh hopper using feeders. Once the Batch is ready, the material from the weigh hopper is discharged for further processing.
TWSPL offers standard and customized micro material weighing systems to weigh materials that require accurately measured ingredients that are critical to the batch integrity. These systems can be manual, semi-automatic, or fully automated. Working Principle-Within the solution of the micro systems, we offer supply bins, feeders, automatic bin refilling, work platforms, bag handling equipment, dust collection, and batched material conveying equipment.
We offer a variety of feeding devices that are chosen based upon the best solution for the application through product feasibility studies. Feeder selection considerations include industry such as food, or industrial as well as the demands of the application. In Industrial applications we offer a Standard Duty design, or Heavy Duty design. Selection is typically driven by the products bulk density and environment of the application. Size selection is done depending upon accuracy and rate requirements.
Scaling devises such as hoppers, platforms, conveyors/scales are used in a variety of designs. When considering the scaling device many application factors are reviewed such as scale resolution, accuracy, and batch rate. Systems are modular in design allowing for expansion of the systems. Many customers will automate the most frequently used material with the highest volumes and add to the system. Systems typically range from 6 to 48 storage/supply bins, with an average of 24 micro bins.
We strive to provide efficient batching and weighing systems for various industrial applications in the food, baking and chemical industries. Load cells under the hopper transmit weight-gain information to a controller that starts and stops each conveyor, slowing the feed rate to a dribble as the weight approaches the target in order to meet the high accuracy requirements. Ingredients are discharged from the weigh hopper through a slide gate valve to the process.
